Hacksaw Gaming has developed a new creative slot game called Chaos Crew, this is clear that the developer is slowly unmasking itself from being referred to as a scratch cards developer, to a high-profile slot's designer.

As I've learned, Hacksaw enjoys creating quirky, likeable games, and this is certainly the case with Chaos Crew. The centre of the theme is on a cat named Cranky and his sidekick Sketchy, both of whom are playable.

Chaos Crew uses a 5x5 grid setup, with up to 15 fixed paylines. The features are nothing new, and I have seen a couple of them before. They include Free spins bonus, Buy Feature, Multiplier Wilds,Random Multiplier, Respins, and Sticky Symbols.

Cranky the cat is a wild feature in the game, and he can be used to substitute for any other symbol in the game except the scatter. It also serves as a mystery multiplier, which increases the line win by a factor of two. Depending on where it lands, it will display one of the following values: 2, 3, or 5.

If more than one Cranky Cat symbol appears on the same win line, the multipliers will combine to create a larger payout.

A brief tiny record scratch sound is heard when free spin symbols appear on the reels; land three or more of these symbols to activate the free spins bonus feature.

This mode begins with three spins and continues until you receive three consecutive non-winning spins. With each successful landing of a winning symbol, the number of spins is reset to three.

A number is displayed above each reel. I noticed that once the bonus comes to an end, these numbers are added together and multiplied by the entire bet in order to determine the reward amount.

Theme and Design

This art-theme slot is well designed, and I love the creativity that has gone into the symbols. The symbols include eight balls, crosses, skulls, smiley faces, lighting, brains, moths, apple cores, and tentacles.

Conclusion

Hats off to this developer for creating a great slot, despite their few years of existence. Hacksaw has gone the extra mile to ensure that this slot is not only fun and entertaining, but is also potentially profitable.

However, due to its brutal volatility, Chaos Crew is only suitable for more experienced gamers.
