Push Gaming has developed an Ancient Egypt themed slot machine that goes by the name Wheel of Wonders. The title also borrows part of its inspiration from the mythology of Mesopotamia.
I got an opportunity to play this slot machine, and below is my review:
Wheel of Wonders uses a 6x3 reels design, and slot offers up to 729 ways to win. However, the game has the potential to deliver as many as 46, 656 ways to win 6x6.
Among the features present are win multipliers (found in the base game), and free spins (offers progressive multipliers), among others.
For the wager, you can use as little as $0.10 per spin, while the highest amount that is allowed is $100 per spin. This gives high rollers an opportunity as well.
Wheel of Wonders has great potential, and when it comes to top payout, the highest that the slot can pay is 47,233x the stake.
However, please note that such high payout comes with very high volatility, meaning more risk.
I was impressed by the RTP of 96.50% that Wheel of Wonders offers players.
Wheel of Wonders has some special ideas, and especially when you look at its game area that may change/upgrade constantly.
Initially, the slot will give you 6x3 reels with 729 ways to win, however, the game can end up with as many as 46,656 ways to win on 6x6 reels.
The reels will expand with the help of wins, alongside the cascading reels.
To gain access to some features like the multipliers, you will need to spin the Ancient Wheels, and this will add a full row of additional positions. to give you You will unlock rows 1, 2 or 3 which will also give you access to other wheels.
The slot has modifiers as well, and among them is the Embellish (transforms the symbol found on most positions, into a higher value icon), Renovate (raises the value of low-value symbols), Restore (increases random positions on the locked rows), and finally Transmute (delivers extra wilds).
Free spins are great, and they will involve progressive multipliers. There is an opportunity to retrigger this feature.
Push Gaming has borrowed inspiration from the legends of Ancient Mesopotamia, and this gives it a twist from the Ancient Egypt design.
I love the overall design quality, and for the symbols Wheel of Wonders has gone with Mesopotamian writing (for the low-value icons), icon of different deities, birds, monsters, claws, and pottery.
Even though Wheel of Wonders is a highly volatile slot game, it is one of the most interesting slots that I have played from Push Gaming.
The slot offers a long list of features, and the top payout, coupled with a fair RTP makes this slot a great choice for high rollers.
